Mayo people living in Dublin and the east coast are being invited to come together for a special evening celebrating the historic 2026 All-Ireland victory, with two of the All-Ireland champions as special guests.
Dinner with Champions will take place at the acclaimed Saba Restaurant on South William Street on Tuesday, November 10, for the Dublin launch of Never Stop Dreaming – Mayo’s Story of All-Ireland Glory.
All-Ireland champions and newly crowned All Stars Jack Carney and Sam Callinan will give insights into the year that was with renowned broadcaster and Ballyhaunis native Nathan Murphy acting as MC as guests celebrate a timeless year for Mayo football.
It’s a home from home for Mayos in Dublin as Saba is a Mayo-owned business, run by the Cadden family from Westport.
The evening will include a three-course dinner, wine and a signed copy of the book, at a cost of €150 per person.
There is also a charitable element to the event, which will support Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation’s Sunflower Children’s Hospice project in Castlebar.
The evening begins at 6.30pm on Tuesday, November 10. Places can be booked by contacting Saba on 01 679 2000 and spaces are limited.
Never Stop Dreaming – Mayo’s Story of All-Ireland Glory is written by Anthony Hennigan and Edwin McGreal with Michael McLaughlin as picture editor. It is published by Mayo Books Press and is available in bookshops and online at mayobooks.ie.
