Knock Basilica lights up as Mayo team attends Thanksgiving prayer service

Members of the Mayo GAA team and management attended a prayer service of thanksgiving to Our Lady of Knock last night at Knock Basilica.
The service was organised to mark the special occasion of Mayo winning the Sam Maguire Cup for the first time in 75 years.
The Basilica was lit up in the iconic green and red colours to mark the occasion which was celebrated by Fr Richard Gibbons and Archbishop Francis Duffy.
