Where to find the Mayo Paddington Bear statue

The statue of Paddington Bear in Westport, County Mayo is attracting fans of the franchise from all over the county who dream of sharing a marmalade sandwich with the legendary bear.

On November 8, “Paddington in Peru” is set to hit theatres. A trail of Paddington statues has been erected across Ireland and the UK ahead of the premier of the highly anticipated movie.

Mayo is one of 23 locations in which Paddington is making an appearance.

In Westport, Paddington sits atop the Fairgreen overlooking The Mall.

The bear is depicted wearing his signature red hat and blue coat. Additionally, Paddington would not be Paddington if he wasn’t grasping a marmalade sandwich in his paw.
