The Western People was reprinted last night after its souvenir edition to mark Mayo’s historic victory in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final sold out in a day.
The newspaper’s office was inundated with calls from newsagents for extra copies as fans looked to snap up the souvenir edition. A decision was made in the early afternoon to order a reprint, and all newsagents have now been stocked up again this morning. Anyone wishing to purchase a copy is advised to do so quickly as demand is expected to be very strong again today.
