West Sligo shop issues bogus tradesman warning
The store issued a warning on social media today.
A well-known Dromore West store has issued a warning to the community in West Sligo over bogus tradesmen.
Feeney’s Centra say they have been made aware of fraudulent tradesmen claiming to be carrying out work on their shop and touting for business locally.
“We’ve been made aware of people going around the locality pretending to be tradesmen and saying they have been doing work at our shop, before asking homeowners if they have any work that needs doing on their property,” said the shop in a post on social media.
“We do not have any tradesmen working at our shop. Please be cautious and do not assume they are connected to us. We would never send anyone out door to door claiming to represent our business without prior arrangement,” Feeney’s Centra added.
