Mayo men celebrate winning Vancouver GAA championship
There was a strong Mayo contingent on the Eire Og side who lifted the Vancouver Senior Football Championship
A South Mayo GAA club has congratulated four Claremorris men who helped capture the Vancouver Senior Championship in Canada.
“Congratulations to Claremorris men Daniel Murphy, Stephen McGreal, Mikey Higgins and Paddy Barry on winning the Vancouver Senior Championship with Vancouver Éire Óg over the weekend,” said Claremorris GAA club in a post on social media.
“It was great to welcome Éire Óg to Claremorris back in January for our New Year’s charity game in aid of Mayo Roscommon Hospice,” the club added.
The Eire Og side boasted nine Mayo representatives in its squad and management team.
