Well-known US actor visits Mayo parish

A well-known American actor recently visited the Mayo parish of Kilmovee.

Patrick Duffy, renowned for his role in the popular television show Dallas, arrived in the area to explore his Irish roots.

Kilmovee Community Centre said: "It was amazing to be part of Patrick's journey connecting with his heritage right here in our community. Both Patrick and his girlfriend Linda were absolutely wonderful - so warm, friendly, and generous with their time. They took photos with our entire team and made everyone feel special.

They added, "Can't wait to see how our little corner of Ireland features in the documentary! Thank you, Patrick and Linda, for choosing Kilmovee as part of your story."
