Water supply restored to customers in Mayo following outage
Uisce Éireann would like to thank impacted customers for their patience while works were underway to restore supply.
Supply has been fully restored to all customers in Erris this morning following a power outage at the local water treatment plant associated with Storm Boelo.
Customers in Blacksod, Ballyglass, Toorglass, Attycunnane, Inver, Pullathomas, Doohoma, Foxpoint, Carrowmore, Glencullen, Muings, Briska, Bellacorrick, Keenagh, Glenamoy, Rossport, Carrowtigue, Killgalligan and surrounding areas were impacted.
Following an outage, it can take some time for the water network to fully recharge, particularly for customers on higher ground or at the end of the network. Customers may also experience temporary issues such as reduced pressure and airlocking as supplies return.
