Speed limit reduced on Mayo road after concerns about speeding in the area
The speed limit reduction has been in effect since this day last week.
Last week, a speed change took place on a road in Breaffy, Castlebar.
Mayo County Council confirmed that the N60 road between the new N5 overbridge and the Breaffy GAA grounds was reduced to 80kph from 100kph.
This comes following concerns over speeding in the area.
The speed limit reduction has been in effect since this day last week - Thursday, June 13.
