Search resumes for man missing off coast of Galway

Shortly after 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 6th, 2024, Gardaí and the Coast Guard responded to reports of an individual (understood to be a male) entering the water off the coast of Carna, Co. Galway.
A coast guard led operation is currently underway.
Searches resumed this morning at first light.
An Garda Síochána state that there are no further details and updates at this time.
