The switch-on of the Christmas lights in Westport will be on Friday, December 6.
The local Chamber of Commerce will install the Christmas lighting display across Westport. The committee of the Westport Chamber feels that the festive lighting is immensely important to residents and visitors alike.
The committee of the Westport Chamber acknowledges the support of elected councillors and looks forward to their continued support in the coming years.
In previous years, the method used to light the trees along the Mall caused severe damage to the trees. Therefore, the style of lighting will be slightly altered going forward.
