Mayo councillor Michael Burke announced in a social media post that he has received support from Mayo County Council Director of Services, Tom Gilligan, for the development of a swimming pool in Ballinrobe.

The temporary closure is due to take place between October 28 and November 8.

This application will first be subject to approval by the Department of Housing before an advanced purchase agreement can be entered into.
