Credit Union draw yields big winners in Ballina

Aidan Flannelly from Easkey was the top prize winner in the quarterly cash draw for members of Ballina Credit Union in September, taking away a prize of €15,000.

The draw also saw Patricia Culkin from Ballina win €3,000.

Geraldine Carden (Killala), Louise Carrabine (Corballa) and Jacqueline and Paul Hackett (Ballina) were the recipients of the €2,000 prize.

Other prize winners included Patrick Langdon (Ballina), Valerie Padden (Ballina), Patrick Howley (Ballina), Pamela Lacken (Ennis), and Andrea Moylette and Aidan Ferguson (Ballina), each of whom took away €1,500.

€1,000 went to Declan Moyles (Ballina), Verena Munnelly (Ballina), Siobhan Regan (Ballina), Karol Donnelly (Ballina), Anna Sweeney (Ballina), Brian Weir (Ballina), Michael Jordan (Killala), Barbara Mitchell (Crossmolina), Eamon Walsh (Enniscrone) and Niall Egan (Ballina).

Liam Reddington (Foxford) won €840.

The total amount awarded was €42,340.

Only members of Ballina Credit Union can take part in the Members’ Quarterly Draw. To enter, members must sign up and pay the entrance fee of €8.28 per quarter, which will be deducted in advance from unattached savings. All funds raised are returned to members in the form of cash prizes.
