Plans to re-open popular bar and restaurant in near future

There are plans to re-open a popular bar, restaurant, and guesthouse following the news that the current leasee’s time in charge comes to a close next month.

Durkin's of Ballaghaderreen has been managed by Patrick Sharkey for the past five years. 

He recently announced on social media that his time in charge of the business comes to a close on July 18. 

Mr Sharkey paid tribute to the support he has had from customers over the years.

The owner of the property told The Western People that this does not mean the end of the landmark Ballaghaderreen business. They say it is hoped that Durkin’s will continue to trade within the hospitality sector in the near future.
