Plans revealed for exciting development in Mayo town

A planning application is to be lodged with Mayo County Council for a project that has the potential to transform the streetscape of Balla.
The proposed development at The Square in Balla, will see existing sheds and outbuildings demolished to pave the way for 16 houses and the extension refurbishment and reconfiguration of existing commercial properties.
The 16-units will be a mix of a pair of two-bed townhouse, nine three-bed townhouses, and two one-bedroom apartments.
The proposed development has been welcomed by local councillor Cyril Burke.
“This will be transformative for Balla town centre and the last piece in the jigsaw,” he remarked.
