Mayo senior football manager Andy Moran will return to familiar surroundings as the Green and Red discovered their opponents for Round 1 of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
On the weekend of May 30/31, Mayo will travel to Clones to take on Monaghan. The Farney men booked their place in the Ulster final last weekend after defeating Derry in extra-time.
Moran was part of Gabriel Bannigan's backroom team for Monaghan last year as a forwards coach.
The two counties met in the National League earlier this year, with Mayo victorious on a 2-20 to 2-11 scoreline.
They have only met once in the championship, with Mayo defeating Monaghan 1-13 to 0-12 in an All-Ireland SFC qualifier in 2022.
The pick of the Round 1 ties sees Kerry take on Donegal in a repeat of last year's All-Ireland final.
