Planning approved for Mayo housing development
Permission has been granted for the housing project
Mayo County Council has granted planning permission for a 12-home development in South Mayo.
The local authority has given the green light for the project in Cross.
It will see the construction of 10 detached homes and two semi-detached properties at Ballymacgibbon North.
Permission was granted despite a number of objections. These included concerns over road safety and the scale of the development.
There are 23 conditions attached to the planning permission.
