Plan to bring Sam Maguire to every school and GAA club in Mayo

The executive of Mayo County Board are due to meet tonight and formulate a plan for bringing Sam Maguire to every school and GAA club in the county.

Sam Maguire has already travelled the length and breadth of the county on a spectacular homecoming tour. There were incredible scenes as the victorious Mayo team returned home to their communities.

Now Mayo GAA is working on a plan which will see the coveted trophy appear at local schools and GAA clubs.

The schools will have to re-opened before a firm agreed protocol can be put in place for the county-wide visits. Mayo GAA is also keen not to forget its diaspora around the globe with locations like London, New York, and Chicago also likely to see Sam reach their shores.
