Perfect All-Ireland Final day arrival at Mayo University Hospital

Baby Eve Samantha Birrane was welcomed into the world on Sunday, 26 July, at Mayo University Hospital, making a perfectly timed arrival just before kick-off and bringing a little bit of Mayo magic with her.
Proud mum Cecelia Birrane from Ballina said, "She certainly picked a memorable day to arrive. We like to think she brought a little bit of Mayo magic with her. She's already our little champion and we couldn't be more in love with her."
Irene McNicholas, Assistant Director of Midwifery, Mayo University Hospital also extended her best wishes to the family. "On behalf of everyone in the maternity unit, we'd like to congratulate Cecelia and Damian on the safe arrival of their beautiful baby girl. It was a lovely occasion for all involved, and we wish the family every happiness as they begin this exciting new chapter together.”
