Tributes to 'uncrowned king of Ross'
Communities are mourning the passing of the hugely popular Paul Mayock.
Communities in West and North Mayo are mourning the loss of Paul Mayock.
Mr Mayock of Ross, Castlebar, and late of Ballyknock, Bofeenaun, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on December 23.
Mr Mayock was a treasured and hugely respected figure in his local community. His operated a travelling shop for many years
“Always ready to help his neighbours and anyone in distress. He was blessed with a great sunny disposition and an outgoing personality which endeared him to all whom he met. In a nutshell, Paul was a legend. The uncrowned king of Ross,” read one of the many tributes on social media Mr Mayock.
