North Mayo café announces decision to close

A popular Killala café has announced they will close down with their last day of business this Saturday.

Owners Shane and Goretti of the Kiosk café on Market Street in the north Mayo town announced that they made the ‘difficult and emotional’ decision to close the business.

“We would like to thank all our loyal customers and staff for their continued support over the last nearly 3 years since we opened our doors. We feel The Kiosk provided a valuable amenity for the Killala community and we hope you have enjoyed availing of same.

“The Kiosk will close on Saturday October 19th. We would ask anyone with vouchers to call in and use same prior to close of business on the 19th.”

“While we are unsure at present what the future holds for The Kiosk, we do hope that some day we will once again say meet at The Kiosk. Thank you once again for your support.”
