Music legend to explore Mayo roots in RTE programme this weekend

This weekend, a television programme on Kevin Rowland returning to his roots in Mayo will air on RTE.
At 6.30 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, Rowland will guest star on Creedon's Musical Atlas of Ireland to talk about Irish music and identity.
The former frontman for the pop band Dexys Midnight Runners was born to Irish parents from Crossmolina.
In a post on X, John Creedon promises riveting conversations about showbands, Horslips, The Pogues and Hip-Hop.
Creedon's Musical Atlas of Ireland is a TV show on RTÉ One in which host Creedon explores the profound impact of music on Irish culture.
