Motorists warned of traffic disruption in popular west of Ireland location this weekend

Galway City Council has advised motorists of 'considerable' traffic disruption in Salthill this June Bank Holiday weekend due to a significant sports event taking place.
The 'Salthill Fives' soccer tournament begins in Salthill Park this Saturday, June 1 and will run for two days until Sunday, June 2.
Five-a-side teams from around Connacht and beyond will compete for the €2,000 prize in the popular seaside area of Galway.
Gardaí in Salthill advises the public that a large attendance is expected, bringing a substantial amount of traffic to the area.
The city council has encouraged people to allow plenty of time for travel and are asked to park responsibly in Salthill.
The 'Salthill Five's soccer tournament will take place in Salthill Park this weekend (Saturday 1 June and Sunday 2 June).
