Mayo weather: Warm temperatures in store today

Met Éireann says it will be warm and mainly sunny in Mayo/Connacht today.

Some showers are possible during the afternoon and evening, and a few could be heavy with the chance of isolated thunderstorms. 

However, the showers will be hit and miss, with many areas escaping. 

Highest temperatures of 19 to 23 degrees in mainly light south to southeasterly breezes.
