Mayo v Louth: Update provided on additional train services

Iarnród Éireann has advised Mayo supporters and other customers that all trains on Saturday morning 11th July, and return trains on Saturday evening, between Mayo and Dublin Heuston are NOW SOLD OUT, with high demand from Mayo football supporters travelling to the All-Ireland Football Semi-Final.
The following trains are operating and SOLD OUT (bold indicates extra train, *indicates connection from/to Ballina):
- 07:15hrs Westport to Dublin Heuston*
- 09:15hrs Westport to Dublin Heuston
- 09:45hrs Westport to Dublin Heuston*
- 11:50hrs Westport to Dublin Heuston*
- 13:10hrs Westport to Dublin Heuston*
- 20:30hrs Dublin Heuston to Westport (change at Athlone)
- 21:10hrs Dublin Heuston to Westport*
- 21:30hrs Dublin Heuston to Westport
Customers travelling on the route on Saturday are reminded of the following measures to ensure customers travel in comfort and safety:
- Tickets are fully sold out for these times. Tickets will not be available for purchase at stations, and open return tickets will not be accepted for travel.
- Train ticketholders must travel on the specific train booked. Tickets are not valid on other services. Please ensure you arrive on time for your service.
- Please remember that alcohol is not permitted on board, and will be confiscated both at Mayo stations prior to travel, and at Heuston Station for return travel.
- Please follow the direction of station and on-board staff, who are there to help make your journey a comfortable and enjoyable one.
