Mayo stars lend a hand to fundraiser in memory of much-loved boy

Two of Mayo’s All-Ireland winning side showed their support for a community fundraiser in memory of a much-loved local boy.
Eoin McGreal and Enda Hession from Garrymore Club in south Mayo, presented a cheque for €22,800 to Hollymount First Responders Group.
The money was raised in the memory of teenager Caylum Flynn, who died in a tragic accident in 2022.
This July would have marked Caylum's 18th birthday, and to honour his memory, his family chose to raise funds for the Hollymount Community First Responders.

An AED is an Automated External Defibrillator, a portable electronic device used to check a person’s heart rhythm and gives an electric shock to restart a normal heartbeat during sudden cardiac arrest.
Hollymount Community First Responders cover a 10.5 km area, stretching from Hollymount Hall and taking in Claremorris, Ballinrobe, Kilmaine, Carnacon and Kilconnolly.
