The iconic public house has closed its doors
A restaurant in Westport has announced it will be permanently closing its doors.
Charlie’s at The Towers, located in the Quay, Westport, announced its closure in an Instagram post
The venue, formerly known as The Towers Bar and Restaurant, first opened in 2025 and operated on a seasonal basis.
In a statement on social media last Friday, they announced they will be closing the following week.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Charlie’s at The Towers will be closing its doors next week.
“We would love for you to call in over the weekend for one last visit, so we can say our goodbyes in person.
“To all our wonderful customers, friends and supporters, thank you for your loyalty, kindness and support.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of our story."
