The Local and European elections take place in Mayo and Ireland this Friday, June 7.

To vote in a local election, you must:

- Be over 18 years of age 

- Live in the local electoral area 

- Be on the electoral register

HOW TO VOTE

If you are not registered to vote by Monday, May 20, then you will be unable to partake in the voting this Friday.

If you are registered, then your local polling station will open from 7am to 10pm on the day.
