Following yesterday’s All-Ireland Final victory, below are the details for the Mayo Senior Squad homecoming event:
3pm – Gates open at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park
3.30pm – Entertainment commences
6pm – Mayo Senior Football Team expected to arrive at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park
Once the gates of Hastings Insurance MacHale Park open at 3pm there will be a full programme of entertainment for the evening with live performances from local musicians including Gorilla Radio, Billow Wood and For Folk Sake. The Mayo squad will be presented to the crowd at approximately 6pm.
Our official number plate sign 26 MO SAM will only be for sale at €5 each inside MacHale Park tonight with proceeds going to the Mayo players training fund. We would ask our legions of loyal supporters to only purchase our official signs.
Purchases of unofficial merchandise has no benefit to Mayo GAA or our players.
The event will also be streamed live by Mayo GAA TV on our Facebook channel, https://www.facebook.com/OfficialMayoGAA Important Information to Note – Patrons are asked to please arrive early as large crowds with many kids are expected to attend.
– It is paramount that patrons co-operate with the stewards and local authorities with their instructions.
– No Alcohol, flares or large flagpoles will be permitted in the grounds of Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.
– There will be a traffic management plan and diversions in place in conjunction with the local authorities in and around Castlebar. Also, there will be No parking at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.
– All times are approximate and if there are any changes to the above we they will be communicated via Mayo GAA official social channels
