Joe McNulty presented the final count and a cheque of €13,020 to Cancer Care West-Inis Aoibhinn which were funds raised after his cycle from Cavan to Belmullet.
Joe said that everyone was so kind with donations and sponsorship.
"This community is a fantastic one, as there is great empathy for each other, keeping in mind our own loved ones who may have, or who may need support from the facilities of Inis Aoibhinn."
He thanked everyone for their support.
