Major Mayo roads to close to facilitate upcoming event
Mayo County Council has given notice of the decision to temporarily close roads to facilitate the Sea to Summit Adventure Race.

The scheduled closures are as follows:
South Mall and Lower Fairgreen will be closed from 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9.
Upper Fairgreen and Mill Street will be closed from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9.
Roman Island will be closed from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9.
Access Road from its junction with the Towers to its junction with Roman Island Road for a distance of 191 meters will be closed from 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9.
Kilsallagh to Drummin Road will be closed from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9.
