Major Mayo road to temporarily close for five nights
Alternative routes will be in place during the temporary closure with emergency access being accommodated.
Mayo County Council has stated that the N5 Dual Carriageway (Westport to Turlough) is due to close for an anticipated five nights during the dates of July 22 to August 2 (7pm to 6am).
This intended closure will be to facilitate grass cutting to verges.
Alternative routes will be in place during the temporary closure with emergency access being accommodated.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the county council before July 2.
