Hundreds of Mayo home hit by power outages
ESB crews are working to restore the power in impacted areas.
Around 350 ESB customers in Mayo are without power this morning.
Yesterday’s high winds knocked out electricity supplies in parts of the county with the north and east bearing the brunt.
Areas impacted include Ballina, Swinford, Bangor Erris, Kilmovee and Keel.
ESB crews are working to restore power in those areas. For the latest information, or to report a fault visit powerchecks.esbnetworks.ie Approximately 18,000 homes, farms and businesses across the country are without power this morning.
"ESB Networks crews have been deployed since first light in all impacted areas to continue to restore power and those restoration efforts will endure throughout the day, with the vast majority of impacted customers expected to have supply restored by this evening," an ESB spokesperson said. .
