Funeral details for man who died in recent tragic road accident

Funeral details have been announced for a man who died in a road accident at the start of this month.

Nikolaj Litvinov, McHale Road died after he was struck by a car while walking on the N60 at Carrowntober Oughter, Manulla, shortly before 11pm on Tuesday, October 1. Mr Litvinov, a native of Lithuania, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A GoFundMe was launched by members of his family to help pay for his funeral expenses.

Nikolaj is deeply regretted by family both here in Ireland in Lithuania, his sister Anzelika (Castlebar), brother Michail (Lithuania) and father Vladimir (Lithuania), relatives, friends and co-workers.

Nikolaj will repose in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, F23 XY63 on Monday (14th October) from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

Removal from Coady’s Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 10.30a.m for private Cremation Ceremony in Lakeland Crematorium, Co. Cavan.

Burial of Cremains Ceremony will take place in Lithuania at a later date, where Nikolaj’s ashes will be laid to rest alongside his late Mother.
