Full details on Mayo’s Ballina homecoming announced
Ballina is welcoming its Mayo heroes home.
Ballina welcomes Sam Maguire home tomorrow.
Ballina Stephenites have confirmed that gates at the club’s GAA grounds will open at 2pm with the team expected to arrive at 4pm.
Prior to the team’s arrival there will be a screening of Mayo’s All Ireland triumph on a 40ft screen and interviews with former county players.
A pipe band will escort the team into the ground on their arrival.
There is strictly no parking around the Ballina Stephenites grounds with free parking being provided all day in the town.
There will be strictly no alcohol permitted at the event.
The club is urging the community to "Give Sam a proper homecoming" when the team comes to Ballina.
