Fare increases introduced for train trips to Mayo, Sligo and Galway from today

Iarnród Éireann has introduced a fare increase to certain routes from today - Monday, June 24.
The Intercity (Dublin) routes to Sligo, Westport, Galway, Waterford and Rosslare will average an increase of 4%. The Limerick to Galway trip is also included in this fare increase.
The Irish rail company said: "The Intercity fare changes represent the first booking office fare increases on any Intercity route since 2018, with a reduction of 20% having been implemented in May 2022."
