There is a huge amount of ambulance activity in Ballina this Saturday.
Large volumes of Order of Malta personnel are on high alert in Ballina today – but there’s no need to panic.
The North Mayo town is hosting the Order of Malta Ambulance Corps’ National First Aid competitions this Saturday.
A number of simulated emergency scenarios are to take place at various sites throughout the town so there is going to be a significant ambulance presence in Ballina throughout the day, including by the river, Gaelscoil na gCeithre Maol, Marian Crescent, Humbert Street, Dillon Terrace, and Market Square.
