Details announced on Mayo team’s Claremorris homecoming

South Mayo welcomes the Mayo team home tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the turn of Claremorris to welcome Mayo team home.

“Claremorris GAA, in conjunction with our neighbouring South Mayo GAA clubs, are proud to host the Mayo GAA Homecoming this Thursday as Sam Maguire continues its tour across Mayo,” said Claremorris GAA club.

“We look forward to welcoming the Mayo team and Sam as we celebrate an unforgettable and historic week for Mayo GAA,” the club added.

The homecoming event in Claremorris takes place on the club’s GAA pitch with gates open at 2pm. The Mayo team is expected to arrive in the South Mayo town at 4pm.

There will be only two points of entry to the Claremorris GAA grounds. The main gate, adjacent to Hillside Service Station as well as the laneway next to Electric Skyline (next to Tennis Club.) Please note there will be no access to the Public via the carpark to the side of Heffernan’s Foodstore, the club stated.
