Busy Mayo street to close for three days from today
Due to major waterworks, Castle Street, Castlebar, will be closed to traffic on October 29, 20 and 31.

A digital sign has been posted at the top of the street to inform drivers of the upcoming closure. During the days of closure, traffic will be diverted down Ellison Street.
Because of the mid-term break for local schools, traffic is not expected to be as heavy as usual. However, the closure of Castles Street will be an inconvenience.
