Beloved Enniscrone teacher retires after 24 years of service

Ms Margaret Kenny who was a cherished Physics, Maths and Science teacher at Jesus and Mary Secondary School, Enniscrone, has retired after 24 years. 

She inspired generations of students with her wisdom, patience and love for learning. Her passion for Science and the environment and her dedication impacted everyone she taught and her legacy will live on in the corridors and classrooms of Jesus and Mary Secondary School.

Students and staff gathered in the canteen to honour Ms Kenny. The student council spoke on behalf of the student body thanking Ms Kenny for all she had done for the students and they presented her with some beautiful gifts. 

Ms. Hamilton, principal, paid tribute to Ms Kenny for her tireless work and her dedicated service to the school. 

She is wished a well deserved retirement filled with health, happiness and lots of new adventures.
