Alert: Some Mayo roads remain closed following the recent snowfall

Mayo County Council has provided updates on road closures following the recent heavy snowfall and icy conditions in Mayo.

- R312 Belmullet Road is passable with extreme care. Advisory diversions are in place at Bellacorrick, diverting southbound towards Crosmmolina on the N59. Single lane traffic in places. High sided vehicles are advised to use alternative routes.

- Windy Gap Road L1721 remains closed to traffic today and tonight.

- Prixon Road L1712 remains closed to traffic. Crews are working on this road.
