Alert: Mayo road to temporarily close from tomorrow
The temporary road closure, which is to facilitate road surfacing works, will be ongoing until this Friday, June 28.
Mayo County Council has advised motorists that the L-1721 Castlebar to Bofeenaun road will be closed at the Windy Gap from tomorrow - Wednesday, June 26.
The temporary road closure, which is to facilitate road surfacing works, will be ongoing until this Friday, June 28.
The works will occur from 9am to 5.30pm each day with diversions in place via R315 Lahardane to Pontoon and R310 Pontoon to Castlebar.
The county council say there will be local access only during these works.
