Additional Ballina train for Mayo's All-Ireland final clash
The additional train service has been confirmed.
Irish Rail has confirmed that an additional direct service from Ballina to Heuston Station will run on Sunday.
Senator Mark Duffy said the news has been confirmed following engagement with Irish Rail.
The direct route will run from 9.15am from Ballina to Hueston Station with a return train departing Dublin at 7.45pm on Sunday.
There is the possibility of an extra direct route from Westport and Sligo to facilitate fans.
“My thanks to Irish Rail, local staff and drivers who have facilitated the extra services for supporters to travel up to the big game,” said Sen Duffy.
Tickets for the train service went on sale this afternoon.
