20 Mayo community centres receive significant funding

20 community centres across Mayo received a combined €345,747 in funding for upgrades.

Minister Heather Humphreys confirmed funding to enhance existing community facilities under Category 1 of the Community Centres Investment Fund.

This funding will allow for upgrades to the heating, lighting, windows, doors, kitchens and more of community centres across the county.

The following are the recipients:

- Burrishoole Community Partnership - €20,800 

- CLG ACLA - Polranny Resource Centre - €22,000 

- Comhar Dún Caocháin Teorant - €18,702 

- Cushlough Community Centre - €6,365 

- Glenhest Community Centre - €15,982 

- Inver Community Centre - €20,000 

- Lecanvey Community Centre - €24,999 

- Magh Fhionalbha Community Centre - €15,200 

- Manulla Sporting Club - €3,990
