Ford is reviving its iconic European nameplate from the 1970s and 1980s as a new electric coupe SUV, writes Trish Whelan. There will be two versions at launch, the Capri and Capri Premium; a rear wheel drive 286hp and an AWD with 340hp.

Ford’s all-electric Explorer has completed a record-breaking 30,000km Drive Around the World marathon.

Ford has revised its Puma compact crossover with upgraded lighting, significant interior changes, and an enhanced connectivity. The car was first launched in 2019 and last year was Ford’s best-selling model in Ireland, followed by Focus and Kuga.

A plug-in hybrid version of Ford’s new third-generation Transit Connect compact van will be included in the powertrain line-up when it goes into production later this year.

Ford has given its Kuga a crossover for 2024 with new exterior styling and enhanced interiors, writes Trish Whelan.  There are also improvements to the plug-in hybrid powertrains, offering extended EV range now rated at up to 69kms from a full charge.
