Tesla reaches 10,000 deliveries in Ireland

Tesla has announced prices for the new Model Y set to launch here in May.

Tesla has announced its milestone of 10,000 vehicles delivered and sold in Ireland.

Having started the journey in Ireland in 2016, last year Tesla Model 3 was the most popular EV in the country. Currently, there are just over 100,000 EVs in Ireland with Tesla leading sales at roughly 10% of all EVs.

Tesla has announced prices for the new Model Y set to launch here in May. The Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive with up to 500km of range (WLTP), 13.9kWh/100km consumption, a 0-100km/h time of 5.9 secs, starts from €44,990. The Model Y Long Range with Rear-Wheel Drive and up to 622km of range starts at €49,990 while the Long Range AWD version with up to 586km of range and 0-100km/h time of 4.8 secs starts at €52,990. The Launch Series with 568km of range and a 0-100km/h sprint of 4.3 secs is from €60,990.

All new Model Y cars include cross-car front and rear lighters, acoustic glass, 8-inch rear touchscreen, hands-free trunk opening, and an additional front facing camera.

The Model Y is already on display at Tesla Dublin, in their Sandyford showroom.
