Renault reveals new C-segment hybrid

Renault’s new Symbioz has been designed to fit between the Captur small SUV and the larger Austral, writes Trish Whelan. 

The car will complete the E-Tech hybrid range of cars from the French carmaker.

It will be able to carry seven people. Besides private buyers, it is also built for corporate fleet owners looking for a level of electrification.

Symbioz will have an exceptional boot capacity for the segment at up to 624 litres and a sliding rear seat that folds to provide a fully flat floor.

After Arkana, Megane E-Tech electric, Austral and Scenic E-Tech electric, Symbioz completes the range of new generation compact Renault vehicles.
