New Renault Trafic E-Tech EV wins International award

Renault’s new Trafic Van E-Tech electric has been named International Van of the Year 2027.

Renault’s Traffic van E-Tech electric has been named International Van of the Year 2027, winning the prestigious industry award by a unanimous vote of the 26-member jury representing 26 European countries.

The award was presented at the IAA Transportation Show in Hanover on 14 September 2026.

The van has a range of up to 450kms and a 10.3m turning circle - comparable with Renault Clio.

The new Traffic Van E-Tech electric will make its Irish debut at the Nevo EV Show at the RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin, on November 7-8, 2027. Irish pricing, specs and launch time will be announced later.

Meanwhile, Honda Ireland has announced updates to the Model Year 2027 Civic range, introducing the Sport grade and improved transmission technology.

The Civic Sport, priced from €43,750, features a 9-inch infotainment system, 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels, and the latest suite of Honda’s Sensing safety technologies.

The interior includes red stitching on front seats, a heated leather steering wheel, privacy glass, and 12 Bose speakers.

S+ Shift technology enhances driving pleasure by simulating quick automatic gear changes.

The Civic offers three drive modes and a refreshed exterior colour range, including the new Meteoroid Grey Metallic. The Civic 2027 model year range is now available to test drive and order at Honda Dealerships nationwide.
