Citroen launches new urban electric vehicle

Ami is 100% electric with a 5.5kWh battery and zero C02 emissions.
Citroen’s new Ami is now offered in Ireland with models available to test drive at selected Citroen dealerships nationwide.
Officially a quadricycle, it is usable as both a two-seater or cargo and enables easier access to city centres. It is a real alternative to scooters, bicycles, mopeds and public transportation, at a cost of from €9,990-€10,790.
Ami measures 2.41m long, 1.39m wide with a height of 1.52m making it perfect for city journeys and making parking as easy as possible. It will launch with two versions, Ami Ami and Ami Peps.
Ami is 100% electric with a 5.5kWh battery and zero C02 emissions, boasting a smooth and silent drive. It has a maximum speed of 45kmh. The battery provides a range of 75km and can charge in four hours with the supplied type 2 charging adapter. The charging cable is tucked away in the passenger door frame.
Ami drivers in Ireland will require a standard car licence or category B licence type. Ami will also require insurance and motor tax when taking to Irish roads.
