New Ford Pro research shows fleet administration can consume up to 20 hours every month for business owners and fleet managers on routine fleet management tasks.
Their research explores the time spent managing day-to-day fleet tasks and how AI-powered insights can help reduce administration, minimise vehicle downtime and improve productivity.
For business owners, finance directors and operations managers responsible for fleets alongside their primary roles, routine administration accounts for between five and 10 per cent of their working time which equates to around 15 to 20 hours each month.
Ford Pro AI has been developed to simplify these day-to-day responsibilities by allowing fleet managers to ask questions in natural language and receive immediate answers using data generated by their connected vehicles. The system analyses information including engine health, maintenance status and vehicle usage to help identify potential issues before they result in unplanned downtime, focusing more of their time on planning, customer service and keeping vehicles on the road.
